Every space runs on knowledge no one wrote down

We kept running into the same failure mode across different spaces: real operational knowledge, trapped in someone's head or a binder no one opens. Every AI product we tried either hallucinated confidently or refused to answer anything specific. Neither is useful in a physical space with real consequences.

Treat a business as a world: a structured model of the space, its rules, its workflows. Give that world surfaces — guest links, kiosks, staff consoles — that answer with the right scope, wherever the question happens to be asked. That's universe → worlds → environments → surfaces, the model underneath everything we build.

HOWI is that model, shipped. It runs short-term rentals, hotels, and small businesses today. The underlying engine is built to reach any space where people ask questions — which is most of them.
